I always tell people never to take a major OS update, for any device by any manufacturer, until the problems have been identified, as there will always be problems. As AAA pointed out, the only other solution until then is to downgrade back to Windows 8.

Hopefully they will be able to do the same with Windows 10 - find out the issue, and release a new build of the game that you can get as an update in the Windows App Store. In fairness to MyTona (the makers of the Secret Society), every time a new iOS has broken the game for apple devices, they have gotten an update out fixing it again within a few weeks (and bear in mind they have to submit it to the publishers, G5, first, and then it gets submitted to review by apple before being released in appstore so they really must work hard to get the fix created very quickly). And that whole process takes a bit of time. It is then up to them to quickly troubleshoot the problem and try and find a solution and then create and publish an update to fix the app.

So the day the OS is released to the masses and starts breaking apps left, right and centre, is the day the poor developers find out. In the case of Apple, they are not giving the game developers access to the new OS ahead of time (or with enough time ahead of time) so that they can test their games and see will they be compatible with the new OS. This exact thing happens every single time Apple release a new major version of their iOS.
